We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Compounding Pharmacist to join our team.

Who We Are:

AHS Joseph Amerena Compounding Pharmacy is a boutique compounding lab located within a bustling pharmacy in the heart of Reservoir, Melbourne. While AHS Compounding commenced in 2017, Joseph Amerena pharmacy has been a trusted pharmacy in the local community for the last 30 years. It has provided quality personalised medication to local and interstate patients and forged strong relationships with health practitioners nationwide. We are always on the lookout to provide new and innovative health services to complement our specialties of dermatology, hormone therapy, pain, sleep and nutraceuticals.

The Role:

Using your effective communication and professional interpersonal skills, you will be able to form strong working relationships as a compounding pharmacist with local and interstate health practitioners, as well as AHS colleagues across multiple pharmacies. You will thrive on engaging with your patients, and strive to deliver holistic health solutions to build relationships within our community. The hours:

In this full-time role you will work Monday - Friday: 9am – 5:30pm.

Hours are flexible and start/finishing times can negotiated.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee daily lab operations.

• Facilitate ongoing service improvement and development activities.

• Oversee the daily activities of a lab assistant.

• Have a keen interest in integrative healthcare.

• Assist in conducting recruitment if required.

• Liaise with health practitioners to achieve best possible health outcomes for your patients.

Who are we looking for?

· Current AHPRA registered pharmacist.

· Compounding experience is preferred but not mandatory.

· Proven ability to lead a team.

· Sound knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

· Have time management and communication skills.

· Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team.

· Embrace change and commit to learning.

· Ability to think outside-the-box.

· Be results-oriented to achieve KPI targets.

· Current first-aid and CPR accreditation.

· For candidates wishing to advance their pharmacy career, specialist training is available.
