Your contribution:

• As a member of the Data Services team, you will work on the core application underlying ifap's products, the pharmaceutical data processing system.
• You will develop new data processing applications in Scala with ZIO and PostgreSQL.
• To ensure the system's sustainability, you will rewrite legacy applications with above technologies.
• You will improve observability and data quality to ensure timely delivery of the latest, high quality pharmaceutical data to physicians and other customers.
• Finally, as our developers are responsible for the execution of their data processing applications, you will have a chance to get hands-on experience with the Argo-suite of tools and Kubernetes.
  

What you bring along:

• You have at least 10 years’ experience building software solutions in a professional context with a focus on backend or data-centric development.
• You have a solid understanding of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms and clean code.
• You have experience designing holistic solutions, reasoning about architectural trade-offs, and documenting the system design.
• You enjoy working in a team and delivering high quality solutions.
• You speak and write English fluently (CEFR B2 or better).
