Associate Director/Director, Pharmacometrics

Position Overview:

Position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in pharmacometrics, modeling, and simulation to drive decision-making across various stages of drug development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacometricians and collaborating cross-functionally to support the design, optimization, and regulatory submission of our drug candidates.

Technical Skills:

1. Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential for developing pharmacometrics models, analyzing data, and conducting simulations.
2. Modeling and Simulation: Proficiency in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, exposure-response modeling, disease progression modeling, and other relevant modeling techniques.
3. Software Proficiency: Experience with pharmacometrics software such as NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix, or similar tools used for model development and simulation.
4. Programming Skills: Knowledge of programming languages like R, Python, MATLAB, or similar for data manipulation, model implementation, and simulation.
5. Statistical Analysis: A solid understanding of statistical methods and their application to pharmacometrics analyses.

Professional Experience:

1. Industry Experience: Prior experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly valuable. Familiarity with drug development processes and regulatory requirements is often required.
2. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory guidelines and experience interacting with regulatory agencies in the context of pharmacometrics, including contributions to regulatory submissions.
3. Clinical Trial Experience: Familiarity with clinical trial design, protocol development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, research, and regulatory teams.
