- Advanced degree in a related field (e.g PhD, DrPH, PharmD, MS)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a Master degree (or 7 years with a doctoral degree) working in HEOR and/or RWE outcomes research in the pharmaceutical, managed care or consulting industries.
- Working knowledge and experience in health economics, health outcomes, patient-reported outcomes, epidemiology, health policy, and related research methodologies.
- Strong overall written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to present technical information clearly and simply.
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical and corporate environment and appreciation for business objectives.
- Knowledge and experience in managed care and integrated delivery networks, formulary decision making and payment and access issues is a plus.
- Skills to establish relationships with RWE experts in therapeutic areas of interest.
- Ability to assess issues and think strategically.
- Experience as a HEOR liaison or field-based professional.
- Disease knowledge in oncology and neurology.
- Sound computer skills including applications for word processing, producing slide materials and working with spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of regulations related to communication and dissemination of information and of the compliance environment.
