12 month contract role
Territory: Southwest Sydney
POSITION PURPOSE
To maximize the sales of Lilly products by delivering optimal pharmaceutical based healthcare solutions to meet the needs of our patients by building & sustaining valued partnerships with our customers, primarily general practitioners.
The role will involve travel to service customers and to attend business meetings. The role will involve some evening and weekend work attending company and industry meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES/ACCOUNTABILTIES
  • Achieve sales targets by promoting products to targeted customers
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with targeted customers
  • Ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained at all times
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely and effective manner
  • Promote the image of Lilly in disease state areas
  • Represent the company at scientific and industry meetings as required
  • Develop & maintain excellent knowledge of disease area, products, competitors and market developments in the relevant disease state area
  • Commit to and deliver on agreed KPIs consistently
  • Develop detailed territory business plans, based on territory analysis, to meet the planned objectives within a geographical area.
  • Develop specific territory action plans for key customers
  • Enter and maintain accurate, professional records of customer interactions within a timely manner
  • Be a strong team player and work collaboratively and professionally alongside all colleagues
  • Able to use technology effectively in ensuring all duties are carried out effectively
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards and company policies
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This role reports to the Regional Business Manager
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION CHALLENGES
The role requires a high level of expertise of the community environments, including the flow of patients. Collaborating with colleagues across teams (Lilly or external) will be required in building the right networks and adding value to our customers.

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in science, pharmacy, nursing or business

  • Compliance – the ability to understand operating principles, procedures and practices and to operate within them at all times Prior Knowledge or Experience
Desirable
  • Prior sales or territory management experience in pharmaceutical or medical industry
  • Prior sales experience in pharmacy or retail
  • Prior experience in nursing
