PLANT MANAGER (Pharmaceutical Industry) France

The role, reporting to the General Manager, will coordinate the activities of the site departments and the implementation of the local industrial policy of production.

The position is the local contact for the authorities: DREAL, CCI, Labor Inspectorate, Town Hall, Administration.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure regulatory compliance, guarantees and develops the safety of people and property
• Responsible for site expense budgets (AOP)
• Supervise employees management, recruitment and organization
• Supervise the implementation the training plan for the staff
• Represent the shareholder with the works council and ensures the application of all legal texts.
• Responsible for all elements included in industrial cost prices
• Oversee standard costs and compliance
• Define and coordinate the objectives and activities of all departments.
• Responsible for compliance with internal and safety regulations for all people present on industrial site
• Define Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policy in line with the group’s rules and ensure its implementation
• Insure reporting and coordination with the Group

Business Skills

• Preferably chemist or chemical engineer
• Knowledge of Pharma Field/Business
• Experience in management, production management, and continuous improvement.
• Strong technical and decision-making autonomy
• Comfortable in cross-functional relationships
• Good technician, method-oriented profile
• Team manager, ability to gain buy-in
• Good communication
• Fluent in French and English language both oral and written
• Experience 8 years minimum experience as an independent production team manager
• Knowledge of chemical risks and associated regulations
