The Role:
We have an exciting internship opportunity supporting our Marketing HIV Diseases Business Unit. This role will be in our Mississauga, Ontario location.
How You Will Help ‘Create Possible’:
- Within a cross-functional team environment, support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and lead a variety of marketing/sales related projects.
- Prepare market analysis reports and other competitive research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations & Excel spreadsheets.
- Use at an advanced level the following software programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, to create graphs, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- In partnership with other internal stakeholders, research and develop customer activity & influence plans and develop tracking tools on marketing activities.
- Support development of marketing, training and promotional material.
- Support the build out of business processes and change management within a diverse team.
- Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks, including but not limited to: photocopies, proof-reading documents, assembling binders and collating slide decks.
- Must have completed at least one year of College or University degree program with a focus on Marketing preferred.
- Must be enrolled in the Fall semester 2024 at an accredited University/ post-secondary educational institution after the completion of the internship.
- Must have the ability to complete 14-15 consecutive week internship between May and August.
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Must be able to secure proper work authorization without Gilead sponsorship.
- Must be able to commute to the office on core collaboration days
- Previous work or internship experience is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (French/English) an asset.
- Excellent project management ability and organizational skills, including the management of multiple priorities and resources.
- Excellent judgment and initiative are required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Must be willing to comply with all regulatory/compliance policies.
- Interest in Pharma industry.
- Able to work both independently and cross-functionally with multiple Managers.
