About The Opportunity
An exciting and newly created role based in Sydney, where you'll lead Evidence Generation and Medical Excellence initiatives. Collaborating closely with the medical team and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll spearhead the design and execution of Real-World Evidence projects. Your pivotal role significantly contributes to generating Real-World Evidence across diverse Therapeutic Areas. Additionally, you'll drive Medical Excellence initiatives by enhancing medical capabilities, optimizing customer engagement experiences, and ensuring customer-facing excellence. Partnering closely with local and regional stakeholders, you'll oversee the implementation of comprehensive field medical strategies. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, you'll shape Medical Excellence strategies and provide in-field medical support and coaching as needed.
Duties
  • Lead the design and implementation of RWE/Evidence Generation projects aligned with business strategy..
  • Provide leadership in RWE generation across all Therapeutic Areas, contributing to and executing RWE strategies.
  • Drive Medical Excellence initiatives aligned with strategy, optimising medical capability building customer engagement experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to create, implement, and execute the overall field medical strategy.
Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or equivalent. Doctoral Degree (e.g., Ph.D.) or medical post-graduate (e.g., MD) preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in medical affairs within pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry
  • Prior experience in medical excellence and field-based medical roles highly desirable.
  • Practical experience in performing RWE studies, capability building, and team development.
  • Deep understanding of medical field engagements, capability building, team development and coaching
  • Project management experience related to medical excellence and operations
  • Self-driven and results orientated
  • Proven skills as an effective team player who can build credibility and confidence internally and externally
  • High integrity, ethical & professional mindset
  • Well versed in highly technical and scientific language
