International Marketing Manager

MedTec Healthcare Recruitment is a German company specialising in the recruitment of specialists and managers within the healthcare, medical technology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Our client is an international company with start-up character and manufacturer of product in the field of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery.

For the expansion of the activities, we are looking for a:

International Marketing Manager Medical technology/Ophthalmology (m/f/d) in the Stuttgart region

Responsibilities:

• You know your product well and are able to define, create and implement the marketing plan of the product brands in your responsibility
• You ensure the development, monitoring and management of the budget allocated to the product
• You create campaigns and printed promotional materials with a sales focus. You develop tactics and concepts within the framework of needs
• You monitor innovations in the world, developments in the sector and competitors, identify threats and opportunities, and take necessary measures
• You determine critical success factors and make forecasts about the market and sales
• You follow online applications, use online communication channels appropriate to the marketing strategy for the product brands in charge
• You identify development prospects to increase productivity and efficiency
• You find opportunities for development studies
• You plan trainings under the responsibility of the field sales organization, product expert and product manager
• Regular participation in the company training plan
• You establish a proper infrastructure and working order (roles, operating rules, procedures, etc.) in order to ensure continuous development of your department
• You do the department reporting and take care of additional responsibilities in order to meet arising needs.
• You encourage inter-departmental cooperation
• You monitor the profitability of the marketing activities
• Daily and weekly business planning, report studies, situation information, solution suggestions
• You follow all regulations, and all practices (UBB records, SUT etc.) from the Ministry of Health and ensure that the work in your department is carried out in accordance
• You ensure the confidentiality of information in your department and the security of valuable documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Fluent in English and German
• At least 8 years' experience in international marketing, preferably in ophthalmology or ophthalmic optics, but candidates from other medical specialties with the relevant experience will also be considered
• You live in the Stuttgart region or are willing to be on site for 2-3 days a week
• You have strong analytical skills, a good demand management and experience in planning, forecasting, operations and production
• You are a good communicator and have several years of international experience in team building and leadership
• You value the people you work with and know how to motivate them
• You are an empathetic person, able to create and maintain harmony in your team
• Competencies in ERP system and set up reports are a must
• You have experience in problem management
• You are able to understand change and innovations, implement them to your strategies and use them to create success
• You are a hardworking, self-motivated enthusiast. You act goal-oriented and are able to act and plan successfully
