Postdoctoral Research Associate - Pharmacy And Pharmaceutical Sciences

A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Jun J. Yang Lab to study genomics and pharmacogenomics of childhood leukemia. Using state-of-the-art molecular profiling tools (e.g., single cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics), we are interested in identifying both inherited and tumor genetic variations related to leukemia treatment response and toxicity. Functional and mechanistic studies utilizing preclinical models and clinical samples are critical components of the highly translational research program in this laboratory.
We are seeking ambitious postdoctoral fellows with a track record of productivity and strong interest in translational cancer research. Applicants should have a recent doctoral degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or combined degrees). With a general background in pharmacology and genomics, the ideal candidate would be familiar with leukemia modeling and anti-leukemic drug evaluation in vitro and in vivo.

Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,012 - $84,510 per year for the role of Postdoctoral Research Associate - Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
